The legendary Bill Thomas is back, and presents PennBilt.

PennBilt's natural performance Club Short defies perceptions of wearing cotton in warmer weather. The long staple Pima fiber is super strong, super soft and highly absorbent which means it’s great at pulling moisture away from the body to dry. The strength of the fiber allows us to lighten the fabric to only 6.2 ounces which speeds that process. Add 4% stretch to the mix and we’re confident you haven’t experienced a cotton short that feels this good and performs so well. Even the pocketing is made from the same material as the short. Yes, we went all in.

This style runs true to size specification. Waist measurements of some other brands can run up to 2+ inches larger than your true waist measurement. If in between sizes, we recommend sizing up. When fitting, the waist should feel loose before washing, expect a 1/2 inch shrink in wash.

  • 96% Pima Cotton, 4% Stretch Garment Washed Fine Line Twill

About the Brand

The PennBilt Brand mission is simple - produce khakis of exceptional quality and lasting value.

It all started with a pair of original WWII khakis Bill Thomas found at an army surplus store down the road from his college. Those khakis captured his imagination for what they were and what they represented. In 1990, that discovery grew into Bills Khakis, a 'trunk of the car' start-up that celebrated the virtues of American manufacturing and design.

Today, PennBilt is a continuation of a life’s work. Their design philosophy blends the best of old and new. The product has evolved for the sake of improvement, not simply for the sake of change. Every aspect of their brand has been rethought with respect to the past and present.

PennBilt Brand favors fabrics that perform naturally over artificial content. They remain committed to American manufacturing as a first alternative and choose supply partners who respect their employees and their environment. They know where they're going because they know where they’ve been.
