About the Brand

McKenzie Tribe is located on the North Fork of Long Island, surrounded by beaches, family farms and vineyards - less than two hours from New York City.

The company was started twenty-five years ago with a collection of upscale men’s leather jackets, made in NYC with a special French leather. The launch was a success, and two years later after joining forces with a 100-year-old jean manufacturer in Mississippi - the McKenzie Tribe blue jeans were launched.

From leather jackets and blue jeans, McKenzie grew to a full sportswear collection made in Italy, and eventually opened four free-standing “McKenzie Tribe Gallery” stores that featured the McKenzie collection, alongside the works of Long Island artists and the accomplished Brazilian artist, Romero Britto.

Today McKenzie Tribe is focused on making blue jeans, working with premium denim suppliers and factories around the globe. Currently we are concentrating on our Ultra Flex denim, which has exceptional stretch characteristics while maintaining a true “blue jean” hand feel for men.
